Game Wrap: Red Sox 15, Rockies 5

New, comments

Todd's last game involved his family, some former Rockies, a Bronco, and a horse.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Say what you want about the franchise in general, they did a great job sending Todd Helton out in his final home game tonight.  The only thing I might have changed is moving him up to bat third tonight.  Too bad the Red Sox didn't get the memo as they crushed Colorado pitching en route to a ten run win.

There were lots of problems on the mound that I won't bother to get into.  The important stats to take away are Todd's first at bat home run, then the sac fly, and finally an RBI double.  His final at bat did end in a strike out but Todd went out going two for three with three RBIs and a slash line on the night of .667/.667/2.000.  It has been fun watching the power come back into his swing this last month and he needs just two extra base hits in these last three games to get to 1,000 for his career.

I could spend more time talking about lots of things from the game but will instead end this with the graph and row call so you all can talk below about your favorite parts of the send off night.
