Game 160: Rockies can still play role of playoff spoilers

Though any hopes of active involvement in the playoffs have long since been dashed, the Colorado Rockies have an opportunity with their final series to play a small roll. If the Rockies are able to prevent a sweep on the part of the Dodgers team - and if the Saint Louis Cardinals are not swept by the Chicago Cubs- then the Dodgers will not have home field advantage to kick off the NL Division Series.

Collin McHugh's first an only win with the Rockies major league squad this season would be an auspicious feat, since he is facing off against the indomitable Clayton Kershaw. Tonight also marks Todd Helton's pre-penultimate game with the Colorado Rockies before his retirement.
