A bunch of former Tulsa Drillers are making a big impact in the AFL.

Rockies infield/catching prospect Ryan Casteel doubled twice and knocked in a pair of runs in the Salt River Rafters' 7-3 win over the Mesa Solar Sox in Arizona Fall League play on Thursday.

Casteel's first hit -- a one-out double in the top of the fourth inning -- plated two runs, including fellow Rockies prospect Taylor Featherston, who reached on a single two batters earlier. Casteel lined out in his next plate appearance before leading off the ninth inning by lacing another double to left field. The 23-year-old Tennessee native finished 2-for-5. Featherston went 1-for-5 with an RBI but struck out four times from the leadoff spot.

Nelson Gonzalez was called upon to pick up the final out of the third inning and he did so while working around a walk. The 25-year-old right-hander followed with a perfect fourth, including a strikeout, and was awarded the victory.

Casteel and Trevor Story are back in the lineup on Friday for the Rafters, who take on the Peoria Javelinas at 1:35 p.m. MT. Rockies left-handed pitching prospect Jayson Aquino will start for Salt River.
