After a pair of one-run games yesterday, the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals will look to go home with 2-0 series leads with wins on the road today.
The Giants withstood a pair of seventh inning home runs from Bryce Harper and Asdrubal Cabrera and held on for a 3-2 win in Game 1 and will send Tim Hudson to the mound in Washington to face the Nationals' Jordan Zimmermann, who threw a no-hitter in his final regular season start, at 3:37 p.m. MT on Fox Sports 1 to start the day.
In the nightcap, the Cardinals will look to continue their momentum from last night's 10-9 slugfest victory over Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers and will give the ball to Lance Lynn at Dodger Stadium as he faces Los Angeles' Zack Greinke at 7:37 p.m. MT on MLB Network.
If the Giants and Cardinals both win, that will mean three of four Division Series will have seen the road team take a 2-0 lead after the Royals took a pair from the Angels in Los Angeles in the ALDS.
