Rockpile links, 3/27: Still waiting on roster decisions

With half a week to go until opening day, the Rockies have yet to finalize their roster. This has left the sporting news community to speculation on who will take the final few spots.

Seventh relief pitcher, fifth outfielder, utility infielder, backup catcher...these were four of the six biggest questions for the Rockies roster entering spring training and they still remain today.  With Barnes already answering the question of fourth outfielder and Nicasio earning fifth starter before a sixth was needed, the Rockies have the luxury of picking from some strong competition on these remaining questions.  Here are the links talking about it.

This may have been shown earlier in the week, but I want to emphasize that our starting rotation was #9 on fangraphs preview, ahead of the Rays and just behind the Dodgers.  Don't worry though, Jeff Sullivan does a good job of downplaying the numbers in his analysis.
