If that isn't the Rockies Opening Day lineup, it's something close to it. We're approaching the end of the beginning fellas; the starting pitchers will build their pitch counts up to mid-season levels, the regulars are going to stay in for the duration, and the relievers are going to be hunting outs, not "working on a pitch."

The Rockies are tossing out an almost all righty lineup, except for Carlos Gonzalez. This is because Roenis Elias is a...*checks Baseball Reference*...yep, he's a lefty. Brandon Barnes is leading off, as his impressive spring has evidently turned heads. He, Cargo, and Stubbs are the defense lineup, as they are all basically center fielders. Death to fly balls!

Tyler Chatwood has had a spotty spring, with a 4.85 ERA and as many walks as strikeouts. He'll have a tough test tonight against the Mariners' A lineup, featuring newbie Robinson Cano. Chatwood still has plenty of zip on the fastball, he just needs to command it a little better and get those weak groundouts.

Late game tonight, starting at 8:10 mountain time. Go Rockies.
