After suffering a walk-off loss at the hands of Joey Votto and the Reds, the Rockies will look to even the series in Cincinnati tonight.
Right-hander Jordan Lyles will make his eighth start of the season for the Rockies, looking for his fifth win without a loss. He has posted a 2.62 ERA in 44 2/3 innings in the first seven starts of his Colorado career.
Cincinnati will turn to a righty of its own in veteran Alfredo Simon. Of Simon's 183 career appearances so far, 158 have been as reliever. However, he has been quite effective as a starter for the Reds this season, with a 1.99 ERA in six starts in 2014.
Additionally. the Reds will have closer Aroldis Chapman back in the bullpen tonight, returning from a stint on the DL.
Corey Dickerson is in the lineup batting second and playing center field for the Rockies tonight in place of Drew Stubbs, otherwise they will have the same lineup as last night.
The Reds will also make just one lineup change for tonight's game, with Roger Bernadina in right field in place of Chris Heisey.
