Thursday Rockpile: As Deadline Day arrives, Rockies look like they're standing pat

With the trade deadline upon us, essentially all of the rumors about the Rockies center on who they will not trade, rather than who they will.

According to Thomas Harding, the Rockies say they only want to make a deal at the deadline if it helps the team contend in 2015, with a focus on young, controllable pitching. He goes on to say the Rockies would have to be "blown away" by an offer to move any of their major pieces.
