Well, this is the situation the Rockies want. They have their man on the mound at home. If there's one set of ingredients that usually brings out competent baseball with this team, this is is it.
Tonight, De La Rosa's opponent will be left hander Danny Duffy, and as a result, Walt Weiss has loaded his lineup with righties. Justin Morneau has the day off, and so does Charlie Blackmon leaving Josh Rutledge to lead off. In fact, the only lefty in this lineup tonight for the home team besides the pitcher is Corey Dickerson, who saw his 12 game hitting streak snapped last night in an 0-5 effort.
One noticeable absence from this lineup once again is Michael Cuddyer who is still bothered by the hamstring injury. Reports are they he's available to pinch hit and that he'll be back in the lineup on Friday, but you never know with injuries and this team.
