After a particularly ugly 5-3 loss to open the series in Arizona last night, the Rockies will look to even the series with the Diamondbacks tonight.
The only Rockies pitcher to stay in the rotation all season, Jorge De La Rosa, will take the mound for his 24th start of the season tonight, he has a 4.27 ERA and 99 strikeouts in 128 2/3 innings this year.
After being removed from last night's game, Carlos Gonzalez is out of tonight's lineup with a recurrence of knee tendinitis, but is available off the bench.
Trevor Cahill will make his fifth start since returning to the Arizona rotation tonight, he has his best performance of the season last time out against Pittsburgh, giving up a run on seven hits in seven innings of work.
First pitch tonight is at 6:10 Mountain time.
