These two games in the next 24 hours are a pair of the biggest reasons I still don't think the Rockies are going to get to 100 loses this season. Not only do the Rockies miss both Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke in this Coors Field series, but they now have Tyler Matzek and Jorge De La Rosa giving them pretty distinct chances for solid, and perhaps more importantly, lengthy outings.
Of course, one big thing working against the Rockies over at least the next few days is the absence of Nolan Arenado, who in classic 2014 Rockies fashion is being diagnosed with this:
