Welcome to the 31st Purple Row edition (and 136th overall) of Tuesdays With Mitch, where we're here to help you kill some time on a snowy November afternoon. Let's get into it...
(As noted before, the "writing portions" of some of my offseason posts will be brief. For the most part, there's not much going on with the Rockies these days and the staff here at Purple Row is covering the ins and outs of the offseason better than I can in this weekly format.)
... In fact, we're jumping straight into the weekly departments today. Lots of good stuff this week!
IMPORTANT: I've also added a new poll for you to vote on your favorite clips throughout the offseason. Sometime before Spring Training rolls around, we'll crown an offseason CLIP OF THE YEAR. So don't forget to vote for your favorite at the bottom of this post.
Vine of the week:
I'm just going to leave this here without mentioning that this fine young man is a Purple Row staff writer.
Ass of the week:
So, this Georgia assistant coach temporarily injured one of his players when he overzealously smacked him in the helmet. Eeeeeeasy, coach. That really does look painful. Funny for us though!

The only person hit harder than that poor dude this weekend was...
Stud of the week:
Did you know they play baseball in Australia? They do! And their announces are the best!
"OHH THE BASE IS GYUNNA GO TOO WE'VE SEEN THIS BEFOAH LERE GOES THE BASE IT'S GOIN INTO THE BEEAH GAHDEN HERE IT GOES UP AND OVAH INTO THA BEEAH GAHDEN GOES THIID BASE."
And a bunch of other stuff from around the internet:
No idea what's going on here, but I just can not stop watching this T-Rex run to first after a dropped third strike.
Drew Stanton celebrating the Cardinals' game-winning touchdown over the Seahawks was the best thing from the NATIONAL FOOTBAW LEAGUE this weekend.

It's always polite to return gentle touches of the shoulder. This clip still has me in tears.
Anyone else see this?? pic.twitter.com/ngiZE8kyeG

(For the record the above clip is what I'm voting for as the CLIP OF THE WEEK in the poll below. It's just the best.)
Demarcus Cousins wasn't interested in a high five from former-Nugget Kosta Koufos and KOUFOS WAS UNFAZED! This is a beautiful Vine.
Check out Lane Kiffin's pretend stiff arm.

I typically don't really care about touchdown celebrations, but this one from Cam Newton had me chuckling since he kept dancing right in the defenders' faces when they confronted him. (And now, of course, this bit of fun is causing quite an uproar, because people are stupid.)

Steph Curry just keeps doing ridiculous things.

Some links worth sharing from the past week:
- Interesting first-person piece from Demaryius Thomas on his upbringing and his mother. She was recently released from prison. Broncos fans should probably read this.
- And a touching piece from the Charlotte Observer on the boy Rae Carruth tried to kill turning sixteen years old. Good stuff.
And finally, you can't get away with picking your nose behind a guy giving a speech.
