Colorado Rockies spring training Game Nos. 7, 8: Eddie Butler vs. Clayton Kershaw; Kyle Kendrick vs. Felix Hernandez

The Rockies look for strong outings from several young prospects as they face two of the league's top pitchers.

The Rockies will split the squad today for games against the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Seattle Mariners. Colorado is lucky enough to face Clayton Kerhaw and Felix Hernandez and will counter with Eddie Butler against the Dodgers and Kyle Kendrick against the Mariners. Each Colorado pitcher will be making his second appearance of the spring.

Against the Dodgers, the Rockies will also have the second appearance of the spring from Jhoulys Chacin, who is looking to regain his 2013 form as he returns from a shoulder injury. Suddenly intriguing lefty reliever Christian Friedrich will see his first game action of the spring as well. The Mariners will see Jair Jurrjens, as well as a trio of veteran relievers in LaTroy Hawkins, John Axford, and Rafael Betancourt.

On the offensive side for the Rockies, Carlos Gonzalez makes his second consecutive start in right field against the Mariners. Prospects David Dahl, Ryan McMahon, and Correlle Prime are all expected to see action in today's games as well. Here are full lineups for the Rockies:
