'Amazing' Betancourt battling for Rockies roster spot -
At age 39, 40 at the end of April, and coming off of Tommy John surgery, Rafael Betancourt may just be in line for a spot in the Rockies' 2015 bullpen, especially after Tommy Kahnle was optioned to minor league camp yesterday. Betancourt has made five appearances this spring, allowing just one run on five hits in 4 2/3 innings with no walks and six strikeouts.
