The Rockies travel to Mesa today to take on the Cubs at Sloan Park. The games don't count, but injuries that take place during the spring training sure do. The Rockies had a scare yesterday when Carlos Gonzalez exited the game in the fourth inning with an apparent knee injury. Word has it, however, that it was just soreness--knee fatigue. Let's do ourselves a favor and take that at face value until given a reason to do otherwise.
Here's to a healthy day.

Jon Gray gets the start for the Rockies today. On Monday, Gray pitched four scoreless innings against the Brewers, and he did so with just 46 pitches. He had to throw a bullpen session after to get in a full day's work. Expect Gray to be stretched a bit more today--perhaps 75 pitches in at least five innings.
The Cubs today will split their squad. Gray gets the prospect heavy half, as the lineup includes Kris Bryant and Addison Russell. Former Rockie Jonathan Herrera gets the start at second base for the Cubs today.
