The Colorado Rockies (7-4) will take on the Dodgers (8-3) in LA this afternoon. Eddie Butler takes the mound today, his last start featuring a really gutsy performance that you've got to respect. Nice job by Hundley for working Butler through a game in which he tossed 5.1 scoreless innings, but gave up five hits, walked six, and hit a batter. Nice job working around all that. Brandon McCarthy whiffed ten in his last outing, but also gave up four homers. Weird day.
Top half of the lineup looks the same today, but McKenry and Descalso come in for Hundley and LeMahieu. Descalso has been pretty awful thus far, but hopefully he can get on track a bit today. The Rockies need to do all they can to keep runners honest today, as McKenry's arm has been exploited in early goings.

Dodgers are going with the usual and enter the day on a winning streak of six. Let's end it here!
