Colorado Rockies MiLB Gamethread: 4 Rockies affiliates in action

The Colorado Rockies series finale against the Giants has been postponed on account of the rain. But fret not! There are four games on the minor league docket to provide plenty of baseball talk on this gloomy day.

As I type this, Albuquerque is getting started, New Britain leads Richmond 3-2 (and David Dahl has a double!) while Asheville is slated to start in a little over an hour, and Modesto an hour after that.

The Isotopes are throwing David Hale, who could have substantive impact on the MLB squad this season. The Isotopes also boast a 2-5 part of the batting order that all sport over .314 averages in Cristhian Adames, Tim Wheeler, Ben Paulsen, and Dustin Garneau.

Asheville's starter is big lefty Sam Howard, and Modesto's starter has not yet been announced.
