Colorado Rockies starter Jordan Lyles is mentioned in this 2007 Rivals video (at around the 37-seconds-remaining mark) that profiled several South Carolina high school wide receivers, including current NFL star A.J. Green. Lyles could've went to the University of South Carolina as a receiver but chose to play baseball instead.
