Troy Tulowitzki’s Trade Value | FanGraphs Baseball
Even though Tulo has come out and said that he isn't going to ask for a trade, that doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen. So, what might the Rockies be able to get in return for their star shortstop? Dave Cameron does an excellent job of looking at this at least partially from Colorado's perspective, mentioning legitimate prospect packages the Rockies could receive if they decide to deal Tulo.

Tulo clears the air, denies asking for trade |
Thomas Harding broke the news yesterday on  Tulowitzki's decision not to ask the Rockies for a trade. Tulo claims he had nothing to do with his agent's remarks to the New York Post and says he isn't trying to force his way out of Denver. Make sure you read Thomas' story for the first-hand version of the conversation with Tulo.

Patrick Saunders has quotes from Carlos Gonzalez and Tom Runnells on the Rockies' relieving, skid-stopping win.

Evaluating Rockies Top Prospect David Dahl -
The Rockies' top position player prospect is finding his way after a rough first month of the season, writes Ben Badler (a guest on the next episode of Purple Dinosaur Podcast, by the way! Watch for that later.) of Baseball America. A quote from Dahl:

"At the beginning of the year, I was putting a little pressure on myself, thinking too much at the plate," Dahl said. "Now I’m just trying to relax, see the ball and hit it and have fun. I just try to be on time as much as possible. When I’m going bad, I’m thinking a lot. Then my timing gets off, so I’m late, and I start committing to a bunch of pitches that I shouldn’t swing at."

Dahl homered as part of a 3-for-4 performance in New Britain's franchise-record 13th consecutive victory on Thursday. We should have more on that soon in the Pebble Report.

Down On The Farm: Carlos Estevez - Rox Pile
Carlos Estevez has been dominant at Modesto. Though the reliever doesn't appear on any top prospects list, organizational or otherwise, it's no secret that he boasts one of the best fastballs you'll find. If he can keep it under control at upper levels, he could blossom into an impact reliever.
