After losing a pitching duel 1-0 yesterday in the City of the Angels, the Rockies will look to build some momentum at home as they take on the Phildelphia Phillies.
The Phillies (16-26) are currently on a five game winning streak, and they will send their ace Cole Hamels to the mound.
The Rockies (13-21) pitching staff has allowed just two runs over their last two games. Jordan Lyles will take the mound after only pitching one inning against the Angels last week. At the end of that inning, he took a line drive off the hand and it immeditealy swelled up. To get a sense of how nasty it looked, just look at this picture:
Looks like that Pujols line drive went off Lyles' hand. This is not good. pic.twitter.com/TccEdtKqfo

I wouldn't have guessed it at the time, but his hand is healed and he's ready to go tonight. That's positive news.
There are just two lefties in the lineup tonight against Cole Hamels. As expected, Corey Dickerson is sitting this one out. The big news is that Troy Tulowitzki is back in the lineup. He'll hit third tonight.
