Game No. 62 preview: Jorge De La Rosa and the Colorado Rockies hope to salvage a win in Miami

The Rockies are looking to rebound after a poor performance last evening.

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Jorge De La Rosa will take the mound this afternoon as the Rockies hope to solve the Miami Marlins. After scoring just two runs in 27 innings against them, the Rockies' bats need to show some life and salvage a win in Miami. The Marlins have won five of the teams' six meetings this year. The Rockies have won the past four games when JDLR has started, with the most recent a 4-3 victory over the Cardinals in which De La Rosa went seven innings and allowed just two runs.

Dan Haren will be De La Rosa's opposite and has recorded four quality starts in his past five outings. Haren has struggled against the Rockies, however, with a career-ERA of 5.12.

Dickerson is out of the lineup today after appearing to aggravate his foot injury in yesterday's game, and Nick Hundley comes back in for Michael McKenry, despite the latter being one of the only guys on the team to any signs of life at the plate by going 1-for-2 with a triple and two walks. LeMahieu slots in at the two with the return of Charlie Blackmon to the lineup.

The Marlins are rolling with pretty much the same group, with J.T. Realmuto coming in for Jeff Mathis as the lone exception. Let's try to avoid pitching to Stanton as much as possible.
