Colorado Rockies prospects: Antonio Senzatela strong in Nuts loss, Drew Stubbs finding groove in Albuquerque

Outfielder Drew Stubbs homered and walked three times as the Isotopes won the nightcap of a doubleheader in Salt Lake.

Down 8-3, the Bees attempted a comeback by scoring four runs on no hits, a wild pitch and a Salt Lake franchise record for walks in an inning with six in the seventh, but fell short.

Isotopes reliever Jairo Diaz walked six of the eight men he faced in game two, allowing four runs in ⅔ of an inning. Meanwhile, center fielder Drew Stubbs had a nice day with a home run and four walks in the doubleheader.

Double-A - New Britain Rock Cats 6, Harrisburg Senators 4
Rock Cats first baseman Will Swanner was 2-for-4 with a home run as New Britain beat Harrisburg, 6-4. Rock Cats starter Bryan Evans allowed a run on four hits in six innings with a walk and nine strikeouts and New Britain closer Austin House earned his 18th save of the season.

High-A - Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 2, Modesto Nuts 1 (11 innings)

Antonio Senzatela threw well for the Nuts. The righty allowed just a RBI single in the fifth while striking out seven and walking only one.

Senzatela (No. 14 PuRP) pitched seven innings with the lone run on six hits with a walk and seven strikeouts. Modesto's lone run came in the first when Jordan Patterson (No. 27 PuRP) scored on the first of three hits on the day from Ryan McMahon (No. 7 PuRP).

DSL - DSL Rockies 14, DSL Dodgers 6
The DSL Rockies broke the game open with seven runs in the fifth inning to take a 7-1 lead that they did not relinquish. Left fielder Luis Brito was 3-for-5 with a double and pair of triples while driving in five. Rockies starter Breiling Eusebio allowed a run on four hits in six innings, walking two and striking out 10.
