Left-hander Ken Roberts sent down to Triple-A | MLB.com
Roberts is headed back to Albuquerque, creating a roster spot for Tuesday starter David Hale.
In nine appearances with the Rockies, Roberts -- a 27-year-old left-hander -- has allowed six runs on 13 hits and a pair of walks. He's struck out five.
Roberts was recalled by the Rockies when Boone Logan landed on the disabled list prior to the team's weekend set against the Padres. Roberts made one appearance in the series, allowing a run on a hit while retiring one batter.
Hale is back after missing more than a month with an injury that occurred while he was fielding a bunt against the Braves on July 9. The 27-year-old righty owns a 5.69 ERA in 49 innings spanning eight starts and one relief appearance. Hale has given up 11 home runs.

Math is Stupid: The Buster Olney Saga
Connor Farrell goes to bat for Olney, who got into a whole bunch of ridiculous arguments with people on Twitter over his use of runs batted in. Connor's message? Chill, and let people use the stats they want to use. At least we're discussing baseball, and that's the most important thing.
