Unenthused Eli, pouty Cam, airballs, another "Bad Lip Reading", and more... It's time for your weekly roundup!

Welcome to the 42nd Purple Row edition (and 146th overall) of Tuesdays With Mitch, where we're parading right towards Spring Training. Let's get into it...

I have a particularly shortened post this week, which I'm blaming on the local football team winning the Super Bowl. (The Broncos. They won the Super Bowl on Sunday, if you haven't heard. Really! They did!) Anyway, it's 2016 and the day after the Super Bowl still isn't a national holiday* of some sort so my time was limited this week. Also my brain wasn't functioning at an optimum level on Monday, for some reason.

*Why don't we just move President's Day up a week to the day after the Super Bowl? President's Day is one of those weird holidays that nobody really celebrates. It just produces a random Monday off in February for government workers and teachers and various other companies. If we move it up a week, half of the country wouldn't have to worry about going in to work (or school) hungover (or just tired) after the Super Bowl. We could still call it President's Day, too! It seems like such an easy fix.

And as you know, a few weeks ago, I added a new poll for you to vote on your favorite clips throughout the offseason. Sometime before Spring Training rolls around, we'll crown an offseason CLIP OF THE YEAR. So don't forget to vote for your favorite at the bottom of this post. (Last week's winner was Michael Phelps's free throw distraction at Arizona State.)

A bunch of stuff I enjoyed from around the internet:

The best thing to come from the Super Bowl (aside from the city of Denver winning it's first major championship in 15 years) was the Mannings' celebrating like crazy when the Broncos locked it up. Especially Eli! Eli is going nuts! A lot is going on in this Vine. It's wonderful.

Aqib Talib falling down on the stage and happily popping right back up makes me laugh harder than I'd like to admit.

Much has been made about the way Cam Newton handled his postgame press conference. I'll spare you my hot takes, but here's the video-- and more importantly, audio-- in which you can hear Chris Harris Jr. giving his own postgame presser. Cam can clearly hear Harris's happy, somewhat boastful comments about shutting down the passing game. Pretty interesting. Why does the NFL set up the press conferences that way, though?
This re-enactment of the Super Bowl, Tecmo-Bowl-style is pretty creative and fun.

And the Broncos and Panthers got the pre-Super Bowl late night talk show treatment. First on Fallon. Pretty standard.

...Then on Conan. This one is pretty fun.

Joe Johnson shattered Jusuf Nurkich's ankles last night. Big man really takes a tumble!

This JaVale McGee airball is hilarious. I truly love the way he halfheartedly chases after his own miss for a couple steps. I miss JaVale.

Last week we had the latest NFL Bad Lip Reading. Here's Part Two. Good stuff.

And finally, we'll shift gears again in this spot. I mentioned the awful, heartbreaking Emmanuel Omogbo story a couple weeks back. I wanted to share this College Gameday piece from Saturday. You might want to have a tissue handy.
And while we're talking about Omogbo, I might as well include this clip from Wednesday on a much lighter note. Given the background, this was the coolest moment of CSU's long season.

Now go vote in the poll below!

Happy Tuesday, everybody. Thanks for readin'. See ya next week.
