The Rockies and Giants kick off today at 2:10 MT. They'll play at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. With the exception of Rafael Ynoa and Dustin Garneau in the designated hitter spot, today's lineup looks pretty close to what a regular season starting nine might look like. Brandon Barnes had a nice day yesterday, and today it's Ryan Raburn's turn to try and impress. Those two are competing for the fourth outfielder's spot to open the season. Trevor Story isn't starting, but he's available. He might show up for a plate appearance near the end of today's contest.

Jorge De La Rosa will make his third start of the spring. If he's sharp, he'll probably throw four innings today.
The Giants respond with a similarly regular season looking lineup. Clayton Blackburn gets the start for the Giants. Blackburn spent the 2015 season in Triple-A. He posted a 2.85 ERA and struck out 7.2 batters per nine against 2.3 walks per nine. In other words, the Rockies are very likely to see the 23 year-old Blackburn, a righty who is about the size of Jon Gray, in the regular season as well.
