The Colorado Rockies have one more week of spring training, and then it's all over. Where the hell did the time go? I know we waited all winter for baseball, and that wait seemed like an eternity, but now that it's here, it's absolutely flying. Slow down, baseball! Let us enjoy ya for a bit, OK?

Mark Reynolds and the joy of the home run —

We talked to Mark Reynolds a bit at the very start of spring training, and he gave some interesting answers to us in a separate story regarding his past in baseball, but above all, this dude mashes. Dinger City is going to be a fun thing, and hopefully Reynolds is healthy enough to take advantage of that this summer, because you're going to see some bombs when we get into April.

Door open for Rusin to make Opening Day roster —

I had the pleasure of chatting with Chris Rusin earlier this spring, too, so it's good to see him finally healthy enough to get a look in a Cactus League game and begin his path towards an Opening Day roster spot. Rusin is a nice, thoughtful, easygoing guy. That weird finger injury of his came at a weird time; here's hoping the best for him Saturday and the rest of the way.
