The Colorado Rockies will attempt to bounce back to .500 on Saturday afternoon in their fourth spring training game of the year, when Tyler Chatwood takes the mound against the Cactus League and NL West rival San Diego Padres and starting pitcher Tyson Ross.

This will be Chatwood's first game action in 2016, a 1:10 pm MT start at the Rockies' home complex at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.

Chatwood is scheduled to throw two innings today, with Yohan Flande (two innings, as well) following him, and then Jairo Diaz, Jason Motte, Brian Schlitter, Matt Carasiti, and Scott Oberg all in line to throw an inning apiece to wrap up the game, according to MLB.com's Thomas Harding.

As far as the lineup, the Rockies' batting order on Saturday afternoon breaks down as follows:

1 — Charlie Blackmon — CF

2 — Trevor Story — SS

3 — Carlos Gonzalez — RF

4 — Nolan Arenado — 3B

5 — Gerardo Parra — LF

6 — Tom Murphy — C

7 — Ben Paulsen — 1B

8 — Noel Cuevas — DH

9 — Daniel Descalso — 2B

Today's game is on KOA in Denver, as well as the San Diego Padres' radio broadcast network XPRS, though there's no TV for the afternoon tilt. For those outside the Denver media market, you can access game day audio at this link.

Of note, too, today: former Rockies pitcher Christian Friedrich just signed with the Padres, though from what it sounds like, he won't be pitching soon as the club builds him back up this month.

Let's chat Rockies below, beginning.............. now.
