Your Colorado Rockies will try to win a road series for the second time this year when they take on the Chicago Cubs—beginning in just a few moments—at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field. Fresh off a game one win on Friday afternoon, the Rox will send Christian Bergman to the hill to face... Jake Arrieta.
As if the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner isn't enough of a challenge for the Rox, the Cubs' stacked lineup will almost assuredly do more damage today than they did yesterday afternoon against a very strong outing from Chad Bettis. But they don't play baseball games on paper, folks, and so here we are ready to see what might happen out on the field.
Rockies, Cubs, Wrigley Field, right now. Let's chat all about it below while I put together a kick-ass Modesto Nuts week in review that'll run tomorrow morning. (Can you believe that 17-inning game last night? The California League is wacky, man.)
