Hartford Yard Goats Open Season With 5-4 Win At Richmond | Hartford Courant
Thursday saw the Hartford Yard Goats play their first game, and snag their first victory. Kyle Freeland was the pitcher who had the honor of throwing the first pitch in franchise history, which went for a strike. Dillon Thomas scored the first run in franchise history on a Rosell Herrera RBI single. Congratulations to all involved with the Yard Goats on finally getting to play baseball.
