The 2016 MLB Draft resumes on Friday at 11 a.m. MT with Rounds 3-10. There will be no television coverage, but MLB.com will stream each selection and a live updating tracker is available if you need an alternative option to follow along. The Colorado Rockies will have the fourth pick in each round. You can find the full draft order here.
On Day 1 of the draft, the Rockies selected three players: right-handed pitcher Riley Pint (No. 4), right-handed pitcher Robert Tyler (No. 38), and left-handed pitcher Ben Bowden (No. 45). Pint is a high school pitcher out of Kansas who has top-of-the-rotation potential and has put up triple digits on the radar gun. Tyler, a member of the Georgia Bulldogs, has also reached triple digits on his fastball, and while he will begin his pro career as a starter, a move to the bullpen isn't out of the question. The same could also be said for the Vanderbilt Commodore Bowden, who doesn't throw as hard as the other picks but has a three-pitch repertoire that will keep him in the rotation for now.
We'll update this post as the Colorado Rockies make their picks today.
