Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez picked up his first career All-Star Game hit in the third inning of the 2016 midsummer classic, leading off the frame with a line-drive single to center field off of Texas Rangers ace Cole Hamels.
CarGo was forced out at second base a couple of batters later and, in the process, shared a pretty funny moment with Houston Astros second baseman and fellow Venezuelan Jose Altuve. CarGo slid into second softly but with his spikes high, bumping Altuve at the end of the play:

The two came to fake blows, drawing laughter from Hamels, whose team was of course involved in an infamous brawl with the Toronto Blue Jays earlier this season.

Never change, CarGo. Never change.
