The Rockies should trade for Jose Quintana

At least, that is the opinion of one writer.

To contend, Rockies need to land Quintana -’s Anthony Castrovince says that if the Rockies are serious about contending in 2017, and by all indications they are, they need to pay the price to add White Sox southpaw Jose Quintana. Castrovince proposes a package built around pitching prospects Jeff Hoffman and German Marquez for Quintana, letting the Rockies cash in on their depth of young pitching rather than move top prospect Brendan Rodgers.
