My most memorable game happened to be the very first major league game I ever attended. It also happened to be the Rockies very first home game at Mile High Stadium. Three things made it memorable. First, the tickets were a Christmas gift from my wife, who doesn't like baseball but went to the game with me anyway. Second, the very first Rockies player to bat at Mile High Stadium hit a home run. And third, it was the first win ever for the Rockies. I don't remember a lot of the specifics other than that, but I do know it was an amazing time. My wife had also included her tickets for the opening night game, and we still have all four tickets, sealed in plastic ticket holders that were given out by The Rocky Mountain News at the home opener.
