World Baseball Classic 2017 schedule: How and when to watch USA and Venezuela

Nolan Arenado and Carlos Gonzalez will be in action today in the WBC

The World Baseball Classic kicked into high gear yesterday. Now it’s finally time for Nolan Arenado to lace ‘em up for his beloved Team USA, while Carlos Gonzalez returns to Team Venezuela for the World Baseball Classic.

Team USA and Colombia both play their first games of the tournament at 4 pm MT at Marlins Park in Miami in Pool C action. Chris Archer of the Tampa Bay Rays will be on the mound for the Americans, while Jose Quintana will take the hill for the Colombians.

Tonight at 7 pm MT, Venezuela and Puerto Rico will try to top the incredible game that Mexico and Italy played in Pool D yesterday. This is the main event for Pool D, as both Venezuela and Puerto Rico feature lineups stacked with major league talent. Seattle Mariners star Felix Hernandez will toe the rubber for Venezuela while New York Mets prospect Seth Lugo will start for Puerto Rico.

Both games will be available on MLB Network and MLB.tv. You can also watch a Spanish-language telecast on ESPN Deportes, which is streaming on WatchESPN.

We’ll post the lineups for tonight’s games below.
