Bees swarmed the Rockies-Padres game and forced players to literally hit the ground | Cut 4

It seems like this happens to the Rockies at least once every spring, but they usually don’t have to dive to the ground. It was the Padres’ last game at their complex this spring, so I can only assume the bees just wanted to hurry their takeover of the complex up.

Ben Macaluso over at Rox Pile is in the middle of a series detailing the 100 best Rockies of all time. In this edition, he talks about Jose Jimenez, the second best closer in franchise history. He talks briefly about how Jimenez got his start, including the no-hitter he threw during his rookie season in 1999. He still holds the records for most saves in a season for the Rockies with 41.
