4:49 MT: Free baseball! Nobody could score in the first nine innings. To the tenth the Rockies go for the first time in 2017.
4:24 MT: Scoreless through seven innings! Scott Oberg relieved Márquez and pitched a scoreless frame. Old and good friend Jorge De La Rosa is in for the Diamondbacks to pitch the eighth.
4:05 MT: Desmond strikes out in his third time to the plate, this one was against J.J. Hoover.

The game is still knotted at 0 in the seventh!
3:59 MT: Márquez is likely done after six innings. He struck out eight batters without allowing a run. It was satisfying to watch.
3:42 MT: A nice gesture from the Diamondbacks. Chad Bettis is with the Rockies in the dugout today.
Thank you @Dbacks. We appreciate the thoughtful and classy gesture!

3:36 MT: Well, the Rockies had a golden opportunity to score some runs on Corbin. With the bases loaded and nobody out, Dustin Garneau popped up to second, Márquez grounded into a fielder’s choice, and Blackmon grounded out to end the inning.
3:25 MT: Desmond gets his first hit as a member of the Rockies! It was a grounder through the 5.5.
3:15 MT: No score through four! This game is flying by (famous last words). Desmond had an almost highlight in the inning.
Fielding a double to left Desmond made a nice throw to second to almost throw at a lollygagging Brandon Drury

3:01 MT: It’s turning into a pitchers’ duel. Márquez allows a single but nothing doing otherwise. Desmond tracked down an easy fly ball in left field. His fielding percentage for the year is 1.000.
2:45 MT: We’re here because of Ian Desmond but holy smokes Márquez threw a bunch of 98 mph fastballs en route to striking out three batters in the second inning. To the third we go, scoreless.
2:35 MT: Desmond grounded out weekly to second base in his first plate appearance as a member of the Rockies. He’s currently hitting .000.
2:28 MT: Germán Márquez allowed a couple of hits in the first inning, but nothing doing in terms of runs. Ian Desmond is due up third in the bottom of the second inning.
