Colorado Rockies vs. Chicago Cubs rain delay updates, first pitch estimated at 2 MT

For the second time this series, a game between the Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs is in a rain delay before the game even started. Monday’s game never did get started and was made up yesterday as part of a day-night doubleheader.

The Rockies and Cubs really want to get this game in today as the Cubs are not scheduled to return to Coors Field again this year. While the Cubs do have an off-day tomorrow, the Rockies are welcoming the Los Angeles Dodgers to Coors tomorrow to kick off a four-game series. That means today’s game is postponed the makeup will have to be scheduled on a mutual off day later in the season, which could cause some issues in both teams’ travel schedules.
