Pitching in the California League is never a fun thing. Pitching at Lancaster takes it to a whole new level as it one of the most offensive friendly parks in all of the minors. That is the challenge that Peter Lambert is facing this year. While his ERA has refelcted that environment, his peripherals have remained solid with 41 Ks and 12 BBs in 38 1⁄3 IP.
Lambert had another strong start Wednesday getting a quality start and the win for Lancaster. He pitched 6 1⁄3 innings with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks while allowing 3 earned runs. The outing was better than even the final line revealed as the Lancaster bullpen was unable to strand either of the two runners that they inherited from him in the seventh inning.
