FanPost

Greetings from a Twins fan, in the Duke City

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Good Morning Purple Row! How are you all? I hope you are well.

My name is Badcoffee, and I am a diehard twins fan. Now that that is out of the way, let me tell you why I'm invading your site.

I've been more-or-less active on Twinkietown for years. This winter, however, I relocated to Albuquerque. That means I'm in Rockies country, and more immediately, Isotopes country. Thats where you all came in. I like baseball, in any form, but especially live. My employer is a major topes sponsor, so I feel compelled to at least follow them. You all here at Purple Row have some awesome minor league coverage, so I signed up and started lurking.

But why am I now bothering you all with a fan post? Well, since our teams play in opposite leagues, and don't see each other often, I thought I'd return the favor a bit, and offer myself up as a human sacrifice for any Twins-related questions you all have, as we get ready to face off!

The Rockies do earn a bit of a soft spot in most Twins fan's hearts, as the landing place for several fan-favorites who left our team sooner than we would have liked, players like LaTroy Hawkins, Michael Cuddyer, and especially Justin Morneau.

I'll try to check back here fairly often and answer any questions you guys leave me in the comments, but until then, here is to a fun, competitive series between two surprisingly good teams, and may all the players stay healthy!

Eat. Drink. Be Merry. But the above FanPost does not necessarily reflect the attitudes, opinions, or views of Purple Row's staff (unless, of course, it's written by the staff [and even then, it still might not]).
