The Colorado Rockies have a well-deserved day off today. But when your favorite team is 24-15 and currently in first place (it doesn’t get old to say that), even an off day feels like torture. Never fear: Tuesday starts a stretch of 20 straight games.
In any case, feel free to use this thread to talk about general Rockies topics. Or, if you’re more inclined, I’m interested to hear everyone’s takes on the following:
- If you are attending a sporting event in a major city, is it okay to wear gear from another team in that same city? (ie: wearing an Avs jersey to a Rockies game, or a Blackhawks hat to a Cubs game)
- Similarly, is it OK to wear your team’s gear to a game in which they aren’t playing? (ie: a Rockies hat to a Phillies/Marlins game)
- Is it okay to mix and match across sports/cities?
