A unique approach for Rockies pitching coaches Steve Foster and Darren Holmes has helped the team's young staff to their good start to the season. Rather than sticking to the traditional roles of a pitching coach and a bullpen coach, the pair work in tandem with the entire staff, with Foster focusing more on the mental aspect of the game and Holmes more on the pitchers' mechanics.
