Game No. 55, Colorado Rockies at Seattle Mariners: Antonio Senzatela vs. James Paxton

The Rockies are looking to get back in the win column on Wednesday night.

The Colorado Rockies and Seattle Mariners head to Seattle tonight for what is technically the start of their second straight two-game series on Wednesday night. Rookie senzation Antonio Senzatela takes the mound for the Rockies against James Paxton, making his return from the disabled list, for the Mariners.

Paxton was off to a phenomenal start in six starts for the Mariners before getting injured, posting a 1.43 ERA and 4.09 strikeouts for every walk across 3723 innings. Senzatela, conversely, has also been great for the Rockies with a 3.19 ERA in 10 starts spanning 62 innings. He could be due for some regression, with his raw ERA outpacing his FIP, xFIP, and SIERA by more than a run. It could also be that the regression is due to go the other way. Either way, there’s only one way to find out. First pitch in this one is scheduled for 8:10 pm mountain time.
