Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez has been in a prolonged slump this season, sporting just a .219/.297/.342 batting line with five home runs in 249 plate appearances this season. Manager Bud Black said he is willing to be patient with González as he attempts to find his footing in 2017.
