Rockies’s Chad Bettis reunites with fellow cancer patient

There is no doubt that Rockies pitcher Chad Bettis has inspired many people throughout his battle with testicular cancer, and on Saturday afternoon he was able to reunite with a special friend who shares his same fight.

Saturday at Coors Field was player picture day, when fans were able to come to the field early and snap photos with their favorite Rockies. During the event Chad was able to meet up with Megan Roseberry, a young Rockies fan who was also diagnosed with cancer. They had met previously, but this time was different as Chad was able to show Megan his matching bald head.

Megan’s mother, Erin Roseberry, was able to capture the moment and posted the following pictures to Instagram.

As difficult it is to hear of players and fans being diagnosed with cancer, it’s heartwarming to see the two come together and inspire one another to keep battling.
