Winners of their last two, and six of their last seven, the Colorado Rockies will look to maintain their lead in the NL Wild Card race against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Antonio Senzatela gets the start on the mound for the Rockies tonight. He allowed four runs, three earned, on four hits in five innings in his return to the rotation Tuesday against San Diego. He shut out the Cardinals over eight innings, allowing five hits and no walks, in a 10-0 win on May 26 at Coors Field.
His opponent on the mound will be Mike Leake, who has a 3.39 ERA and 4.01 FIP for the Cardinals this year, striking out 77 in 116 2⁄3 innings. He has not faced the Rockies since 2015.
Gerardo Parra returns to the Rockies lineup tonight after missing the last two games with a calf strain. He will play left field and bat cleanup, getting an extra left-handed bat in the lineup against the righty Leake.
