Having lost two straight and 10 of their last 11, the Colorado Rockies will look to get back on track as they return to Coors Field tonight to take on the Cincinnati Reds.
Jeff Hoffman takes the mound for the Rockies following a solid bounce-back start Tuesday in San Francisco in which he allowed two runs on six hits in six innings, walking three and striking out six. He has a 4.04 ERA and 1.16 WHIP this season, with 44 strikeouts in 42 1⁄3 innings.
On the mound for Cincinnati tonight is rookie Luis Castillo, who will be making his third career start. In his first two big league outings, he has allowed four runs on 10 hits in 10 2⁄3 innings with eight walks and 14 strikeouts. Prior to that, he had a 2.58 ERA and 1.01 WHIP with 81 strikeouts in 80 1⁄3 innings at Double-A Pensacola.
