Jeff Hoffman will take the mound for the Colorado Rockies against Miami Marlins left hander Justin Nicolino. Hoffman is coming off a seven inning, one run effort against the Phillies. He’s 6-3 on the year over fifteen games and fourteen starts, with a 5.03 ERA and a 1.32 WHIP. Nicolino has appeared in six games for the Marlins this year, starting five of them. He has a 0-1 record, 5.31 ERA and 1.82 WHIP, giving up five home runs and 29 hits over 20.1 innings.
According to the Miami Marlins Twitter account, the roof and walls will be closed for today’s game.
First pitch is set for 5:10 pm Mountain Time. The game will be broadcast on ATT SportsNet-RM or on the radio at 850 AM/94.1 FM.
