Nolan Arenado leaves a Rockies blowout after re-injuring his hand | The Denver Post
Nolan Arenado appears to be fine after re-injuring his left hand. While he said he expects to play tonight, I'll believe it when I see him on the lineup card. It's reasonable to give Arenado's hand a day or two to heal before inserting him back in the lineup.

Rockies Bud Black could use Votto alignment | MLB.com
The Cubs used four outfielders against Joey Votto earlier in the week. Black said that he, when he was the Angels' pitching coach in 2002, recalled talking about doing something similar against Barry Bonds in the World Series. Summer Top-100 Prospects | FanGraphs Baseball
The Rockies have graduated a lot of prospects this year, so it's not surprising for them to take a hit on prospect lists. In this in-season top 100, the Rockies only place two prospects. Brendan Rodgers comes in at number 25—I'm going to venture and say that will be a low ranking for him once offseason lists start to come out. The only other Rockies prospect to rank here is Riley Pint at 46. Ryan McMahon is listed in the "others considered category."
