The Rockies were able to hold Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton in check last night, he went 0-for-5 with a strikeout, which was one of their stated goals coming into the series. Stanton has a 1.211 OPS and 57 home runs this season and has done a lot of damage at Coors Field throughout his career.
