With the Rockies signing Carlos Gonzalez last week, it seems like their offseason is officially over and the players in the organization are the ones the team will enter the 2018 season with. This begs the question about whether they have done enough. Our prompt this week:
What is one thing you wish the Colorado Rockies would have done or done differently this offseason?
This could be trades you wish they would’ve made, signings you wish they wouldn’t have made, or general roster decisions that should be different. Feel free to be as realistic or unrealistic as you like! Maybe you thought they spent a little too much on the bullpen. Maybe you think the Rockies should’ve signed JD Martinez, traded for Gerrit Cole, and gotten rid of Ian Desmond. If you want to take a more realistic route, maybe they should’ve signed Logan Morrison or Lance Lynn. Or maybe you think Charlie Blackmon should’ve starred in a fishing show on MLB Network (it would’ve been more interesting than them analyzing all the not-moves all day).
Tell us how you wish the offseason had gone differently then give us your overall grade to the team.
Write up a FanPost (if you’ve never done one here are a couple handy guides for you) and tell us all about it. Make sure to include “FPF” in the title and we will post some of our favorites on the front page next week.
